At the equinoxes the tilt of the Earth in its rotational orbit is in a straight alignment with the sun. The sun crosses the celestial equator and we experience balanced day and night. In this balance of light and dark we find peace. As the swinging pendulum of the seasons crosses the center line we rest in the cave from which spring, the season of rebirth, is born.
We will work with the healing properties and spirit of white pine (pinus strobus). White pine has a long history of use in the eastern United States and is considered to be the “tree of peace”. Medicine made from white pine is antiseptic, healing for the respiratory system, beneficial for the immune system and extremely high in vitamin C.

Plants are shamanic beings; they travel through the realms and across time and space. They are connected to the fire at the center of the earth, the cosmos and the stars, the winds, the rain, the soil, the ancestors, the sun and all living beings. For millenia our ancestors worked with plants as guides, friends, protectors, soul healers and wisdom keepers. Many of us have forgotten that the plants are here to support us in this way, and yet working with the plants to heal our lives at the source level is very much needed at this time. So much is hanging in the balance. It is our time to remember who we are, why we came here, and how powerful we are when we connect to the heartbeat of life.
In this intensive we will delve into the art of healing with the spirit of the plants, as taught to me by teacher Pam Montgomery (author of Partner Earth and Plant Spirit Healing). You will develop your own relationship with the healing spirits of the plants and discover your personal plant allies. We will focus on working with the plants to clear away all that is not needed from our field so that we can walk the path we came here to walk. We will cover plant communication, the basics of the human energy field, working with plants for protection and establishing appropriate boundaries, ritual, sacred plant bathing (limpias) and creating a blue print for the life that allows you serve your purpose in the highest way. This intensive is an opportunity for you to deepen your relationship with the plants and yourself and to transform your life through profound healing if it is needed.

What people say about this class...
Lauren lives and breathes her garden. I felt very *present* at each session while the rest of the world kind of melted away. It inspired me to experiment and go crazy with my own garden! It's a perfect environment in which to relax and learn! It was also a great way to welcome spring! --LB
Kicking off the gardening season with the knowledge and support that Lauren offers was invaluable for me. The classes gave me the knowledge, skills, and mindset for a productive and joyful gardening season. I strongly recommend “For the Love of Gardening”. --KL
